Summer in Norway 2 - Southern Norway

What a perfect timing to visit my sister and her family in Lindesnes, the southern part of Norway! One week of stunning, warm weather, in my opinion, there's really no other places that can match Norway when the weather is beautiful! :)

Jens and Oliver are very good friends with their cousins Sindre and Marius, so they had a great time together, fishing, swimming and playing football! As their house is right in the harbour, in a small fishing community, they were trying to catch fish and crabs most of the time :)

Just had to get them to do a little "stunt" (the crabs were dead and ready to eat ;))

We also visited Kristiansand zoo, and had another beautiful, warm day!!

Summer in Norway 1 - trip to Kongeparken

The summer in Norway has been great so far! The weather hasn't been briliant all the time like in London, but the kids love to spend time with family and friends. We took a trip to Stavanger to visit Kongeparken (The King's Park), a fun park Jens and Oliver love! We went with my sister Ingunn and her family, and my parents came too. Weather was not great, but at least it didn't rain. And there were hardly any people there, so no queueing at all - absolutely perfect, the kids could go on every ride they wanted, and as many times as they wanted to!

We all had a great day, and Jens and Oliver didn't want to leave when we had to go. I suppose that's the way it should be! :)

After the visit to Kongeparken, we popped in to sweet Linda's house on our way home, to see her and her three boys Elias, Heine and Levi. They lived in London last year, but moved back to Stavanger last July. It is so nice to keep in touch with them! :)
